Commands that Operators should know

Lesson: Banning a nick or a chatter in a channel:

the command should be:
/msg x ban #channel nick!email@host reason
or /msg x ban # nick!email@host reason

NOT

/msg x ban #channel *!*@*
or /msg x ban # *!*@*

those commands( /msg x ban #channel *!*@*
or /msg x ban # *!*@* ) are used for massbanning a channel.
please dont use it to #lodge or any channel you are into,
this may cause a serious trouble and may lead to suspension of username or removal of access.

and if someone asked you to do or use it, just IGNORE them
